A tropical vacation turned tragedy for an American family when their tour boat in the Bahamas exploded, killing one woman and injuring several others.
Stefanie' Schaffer's sister, mother and stepfather, who were with her at the time of the explosion, sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to a GoFundMe page set up for the family's medical expenses.
After Saturday's incident she remained in critical condition in an induced coma in Nassau, reports US-based ABC News.
Relatives and friends were trying to help the family through an online fundraising campaign that had raised $105,000 by Tuesday.
