It was a little over a year ago when Amazon announced it would be looking to build a second headquarters somewhere in North America, in turn kicking off an unofficial competition with cities biding to lure the internet giant with tax and other incentives.
Amazon, based in Seattle, is apparently seriously considering an area known as Crystal City.
Amazon could announce its decision as early as this week, and prime contenders still in the running were reported to include Dallas, New York, and a city in the state of Virginia not far from Washington, DC.
Alec Baldwin arrested in Manhattan
A police department spokesperson told the BBC that the actor had been taken into custody and faced a probable charge of assault. The alleged incident occurred when Baldwin and his then-wife, Kim Basinger, arrived home with their newborn daughter, Ireland.

The company still hasn't decided on which cities would get the nod, according to insiders, but a choice could come as soon as this week.
Discussions for Crystal City were more in-depth than in other cities in Northern Virginia and other locations, including NY and Dallas, the Post reported.
This report was seemingly corroborated in a tweet from Mike Grella, Amazon's Director of Economic Development, admonishing the source who leaked the Crystal City negotiations to WaPo.
Pakistan court frees Christian woman sentenced to death for blasphemy
Authorities say they have stepped up security near an undisclosed detention facility where Bibi is being held for her safety. Pakistan's blasphemy laws impose strict punishment on those who desecrate the Quran or who defame or insult Muhammad.
The Crystal City location would put Amazon just outside Washington, D.C. Betting websites are picking Northern Virginia as the victor.
A new report suggests that Amazon's highly sought-after HQ2 won't go to one city, but two.
Bob Swindell, head of the Greater South Florida Chamber in Broward, said he would not comment on new reports because, "We want to remain on great terms with them by adhering to our agreement as they navigate through their site selection process", he said.
Amazon expects to make its decision by the end of the year.
