The family of five was leaving a Walmart parking lot Sunday morning in the Houston area when a man driving a red pickup truck pulled up to the side of their vehicle and started shooting, reported KHOU-TV.
The suspect is said to have been driving a red truck and was described as a white male in his 40s.
When paramedics arrived, Washington's daughter, Jazmine Barnes, was pronounced dead at the scene.
