So it's a win-win for both of them as Apple gets to provide its content through the television that sells most around the world and for Samsung, providing iTunes and Airplay 2 services means being able to provide more content only to its customers. At one point, Apple wanted Samsung to pay $2 billion, and the case ended up at the US Supreme Court. A partnership with Samsung could help it get that service in front of more eyeballs, including people who might not own Apple phones or tablets.
The inclusion of iTunes will mark the first time Apple has allowed any company to take content from its services and then present it on their own hardware.
