According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Oakland Raiders are expected to sign offensive tackle Trent Brown to a four-year, $66 million dollar contract that has almost $37 million in guarantees. So maybe we should not be all that surprised that apparently, the Raiders will not be chasing after Le'Veon Bell. because they don't have the cash to sign him. He's the most likely candidate to step up at left tackle with Brown gone next season, but spent this past season on injured reserve.
This move means the Denver Broncos will face Brown twice during the 2019 season and at least six times over the next three years (if the receiver plays the entire three years of his contract with the Raiders).
Maybe Antonio Brown is not going to Bills after all
Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported the reason why the Brown trade fell through on Friday morning. Brown, 30, has three years and $38.925 million remaining on his current deal with none of that money guaranteed.
